Hello there!

I’m Claire Dalton,

I have had decades of experience working in and with small businesses. I started out in Accounting, but after several years I discovered an aptitude for software projects whilst implementing an accounting package in the Garden Machinery company I was working in as their Accounts Manager.  I realised I enjoyed working on improving the software systems much more than doing the actual accounting. From there I moved to:

• accounting software support, implementation & training
• business analysis & process documentation/improvements
• data conversion
• project management

Since then I have broadened my software experience to include e-commerce, logistics, OCR, construction. I got my first taste of the online world in 2008 and have undertaken a variety of online projects since then in between periods of regular employment. I am now dedicated to working in the online space.

I love solving problems and finding ways to automate those time-consuming manual tasks that need to be done but take you away from growing your business or time with your family.
